MESA, AZ (AZFamily) -Three people are hurt after police say a red light runner crashed into two cars in Mesa on Saturday night. The crash happened around 10 p.m. near Alma School Road and University Drive. Mesa police say a car was going north on Alma School Road when the driver ran a red light and hit a vehicle heading west on University Drive. Another car waiting to turn left from Alma School Road to the University was also struck.
