Club Sandwich Showdown
In a quest for the ultimate club sandwich, I sampled offerings from three popular chains: Jersey Mike’s, Jimmy John’s, and Subway.
Jersey Mike’s
Jersey Mike’s impressed with its generous pile of meat, which was both thick and flavorful. The bread, however, was not particularly fresh or soft.
Jimmy John’s
Jimmy John’s stole the show with its exceptional French bread. The sandwich had a generous portion of meat and cheese, all cut thicker than Jersey Mike’s. The vegetables were fresh and crisp.
Subway
Subway’s club sandwich was a disappointment. It was the smallest of the three and had a meager amount of toppings. The meat lacked flavor, and the overall experience was underwhelming.
Conclusion
While none of the sandwiches met all my expectations, Jimmy John’s and Jersey Mike’s came closest. Jimmy John’s had the best bread, while Jersey Mike’s offered the most flavorful meat. Subway, on the other hand, fell short in terms of size, toppings, and taste.
