BEDFORD, Ohio (WJW) — It was a celebration of life honoring a Bedford baby, killed in a house fire last month.

Family, friends and neighbors came together for a balloon release Saturday to remember the life of Jovohn Harris.

The two-month-old was trapped by smoke and flames inside the home on Forbes Road. The infant and an adult were trapped.

The baby died at the scene. A 7-year-old child who escaped from the fire alerted neighbors for help, most likely saving a life.
