Cold front to drop temperatures into the 30s across North Texas

Three cold fronts will impact the weather over the next week. The first one arrives mid-morning on Monday, the second one arrives Wednesday afternoon, and the third one arrives late Saturday. All three look to come through dry.

Monday begins with temperatures in the mid-60s, but a strong cold front will cross the Red River and arrive by mid-morning. The wind will shift to the north and gust to 30 miles per hour. This front will bring a cloud bank into the area through most of the day, but unfortunately, no rain will fall.

Morning lows Tuesday will range from 30-37 degrees, with the coldest temperatures along the Red River Valley. It will be sunny and beautiful Tuesday but cool, afternoon highs will reach the upper 50s.

A south wind returns on Wednesday morning, with afternoon highs into the low to mid-70s. But another strong front arrives late afternoon dropping temperatures and to the 30s and 40s for Thanksgiving morning. Sunny windy and cold for Thanksgiving Day with highs only in the low to mid 50s.
