Portland kicks off a short work week with cool temps, showers Monday

A cool and unstable air mass lingers over the Pacific Northwest sending plenty of showers into the Portland/Vancouver area Monday. The National Weather Service says a string of fairly steady showers lasts through the morning Monday but will decrease overnight and on Tuesday as offshore low pressure slowly drifts southward. Portland should see a high of about 52 degrees Monday.
