Exciting updates are on the way for streets in District 2, thanks to the City of Mobile’s 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan.
Council Member William Carroll has announced a series of paving projects aimed at enhancing neighborhoods and making travel smoother for everyone.
These improvements are set to bring noticeable upgrades to several key streets, adding to the city’s larger infrastructure goals.
Streets Getting a Fresh Start
The first wave of projects focuses on streets like Adams St., Joachim St., Caroline Ave., Conti St., Shannon St., and Bienville Ave. Other streets in line for upgrades include Demouy Ave., Murray St., N Bayou St., New Jersey St., S Georgia Ave., and S Hallett St.
These areas will soon see crews hard at work resurfacing roads and giving them the attention they deserve.
From residential areas to busier thoroughfares, the improvements aim to make commutes smoother and neighborhoods more connected.
