If found guilty, William Gene Gabrielsen may languish in prison for a very long time. He could have company too, namely his son Neo Wiles Gabrielsen.
The 43-year-old Hillsboro man and his 20-year-old son were apprehended after an apparent mid-November road rage incident that began in Dundee and continued in Newberg. The incident drew the wrath of a Yamhill County grand jury, who on Nov. 21 returned a lengthy indictment against the father.
Initial charges against the elder Gabrielsen, filed by the Newberg-Dundee Police Department, include reckless driving, possession of a stolen vehicle, third-degree assault, criminal driving while suspended or revoked, resisting arrest, failure to perform the duties of a driver, hit and run (property), third- and fourth-degree assault, DUII, recklessly endanger another person, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, second-degree criminal mischief, eluding a police officer and interfering with a police officer.
