Striking North Shore teachers say Gov. Maura Healey falling short of commitment to support public education

BOSTON – Two North Shore school districts remain closed Tuesday with no deal in sight for striking teachers. Leaders from local teachers unions said Gov. Maura Healey is falling short of her commitment to support public education. They are calling for a meeting with the governor to discuss the ongoing teacher strikes in Beverly and Marblehead.
