A man has been arrested for the murder of a 65-year-old at a Florida golf course.

Incident Details

Junior Boucher, 36, allegedly attacked Brian Hiltebeitel at the Sandhill Crane Golf Club. Witnesses saw Hiltebeitel running and yelling for help. Boucher used multiple golf clubs to strike Hiltebeitel, including in the head.

Tragic Aftermath

Hiltebeitel was found in a pond on the golf course with severe head and body injuries. Despite attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect Apprehension

Boucher fled the scene but was apprehended after a chase. He is currently in custody, charged with first-degree murder. Officials believe he had no legitimate reason to be at the golf course.

Hiltebeitel’s girlfriend described him as a kind and cheerful person. She expressed shock and heartbreak over his loss.

Boucher has a criminal history that includes drug possession, domestic violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
