- Carville says young ‘snot-nosed’ progressive staffers hurt Harris with ‘hissy fit’ over Rogan (foxnews.com)
Democratic strategist James Carville criticized progressive staffers for influencing Vice President Kamala Harris’s decision to cancel an interview with Joe Rogan. He argued that their objections cost her the election.
Carville believes young staffers should not have a major say in campaign decisions. He said he would fire any staff member who threatened to resign if he went on Rogan’s show.
Carville believes that campaigns should not reflect progressive values and that they are inherently authoritarian. He criticized the Democratic Party for embracing identity politics, which he believes alienated conservative voters.
Carville acknowledged that the Democrats lost the election partly due to their own mistakes, but he also praised the efforts of those who served the party.
Carville suggested that progressives have achieved their goal of creating a more coastal Democratic Party that is disconnected from moderate voters. He has previously warned that “preachy females” and woke messaging are driving away male voters.
