SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WKRG) — Executive directors of the Prodisee Pantry nonprofit are asking for volunteers to help fill Christmas food boxes for members of the community.

According to a news release, the event will take place on Nov. 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Prodisee Pantry.

The organization hopes to back 1,000 food boxes to distribute in December along with “regular” emergency food.

Anyone who volunteers is asked to wear closed-toed shoes and dress weather-appropriate because the event will be outside.
