Rudy Giuliani Fails to Turn Over Assets to Defamed Election Workers

In December, Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss won a $148 million judgment against Rudy Giuliani for defamation. One month ago, a judge ordered Giuliani to hand over millions in assets, but he has yet to comply.

Giuliani has only surrendered a few watches and has vacated his New York City apartment. However, he has not provided the title to his Mercedes or the co-op shares for the apartment, preventing Freeman and Moss from selling these assets.

Other Giuliani assets are missing, including a signed Joe DiMaggio jersey that was stored in a warehouse. Giuliani claims he cannot find it.

Despite facing contempt of court fines and potential jail time, Giuliani continues to falsely accuse Freeman and Moss of election rigging. He also claims to be a victim, stating he has no car, credit cards, or cash.

Giuliani has failed to provide the following assets:

  • $5.6 million Manhattan apartment: He lost the proprietary lease and co-op share copies and removed valuable furnishings.
  • $3.5 million Palm Beach condo: Giuliani claims it is his primary residence and exempt from seizure.
  • $2 million from Trump’s campaign: Freeman and Moss may need to pursue this debt through litigation.
  • 1980 Mercedes convertible: Giuliani has the car but no title, which prevents its sale.
