Potential Spoiler On Former WWE Star Making His TNA Debut At Turning Point

Friday night sees TNA put on its 19th annual Turning Point event, with all of the promotion’s top talents ready to showcase their ability in front of fans at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem as well as TNA+. Yet, one significant name that won’t be on the show is Trey Miguel, who has been unable to get to the venue because of travel issues.

Still, despite this disappointment, this has opened the door for a surprise appearance from someone to take Miguel’s place alongside Zachary Wentz and KUSHIDA against The Hardy Boys and Ace Austin. And while it isn’t guaranteed he will be taking this spot, PWInsider.com has reported that Matt Riddle has been seen backstage ahead of the show.

“Former WWE star Matt Riddle is backstage at tonight’s TNA Turning Point PPV, PWInsider.com has confirmed. It appears he will be making his TNA debut tonight. No one has told me this is happening, but Riddle would be a great substitute for Trey Miguel in tonight’s six man tag team bout if TNA goes in that direction.”
