NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A Freeze Warning is in effect until 8 a.m. Sunday for areas along and north of the Interstate 12 corridor, excluding the Baton Rouge metro. Temperatures are expected to drop to near 30 degrees in the warning zone, with freezing conditions lasting two to four hours. These temperatures could damage sensitive plants, so precautions should be taken to protect them.
