‘Accidental’ fire leaves house unhabitable, AFR reports

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Albuquerque Fire Rescue said a home is now considered unlivable after a fire on Sunday.

According to AFR, crews responded to a home near Wyoming and Indian School just before 10 Sunday morning. They arrived to find smoke and fire coming from the home.

While the fire was controlled within 20 minutes, crews deemed the house uninhabitable due to “significant fire and smoke damage.”

The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, and no injuries were reported.
