One person was killed in a shooting at an apartment complex in north Fort Worth Sunday afternoon, officials with the Fort Worth Police Department said.
Officers responded to the scene at 6901 N. Beach St. at 3:15 p.m. and found a person who had been shot, officials said. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives with the Fort Worth Police Department’s Homicide Unit have taken over the investigation, police said.
The deceased will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.
