Do you live in one of the most sinful cities in the country? Just because a destination may not have earned the nickname “Sin City” doesn’t mean the people living there are above having their own share of vices, from gambling and excessive drinking to health concerns and struggles with addiction.
WalletHub compared over 180 cities around the country to determine which are the “most sinful cities in America.” While Las Vegas — Sin City itself — continues to rank in first place, plenty of other destinations face enough of their own vices to earn a spot on the list, including six cities in North Carolina :

- No. 108: Raleigh

- No. 142: Winston-Salem
- No. 153: Durham
At No. 37 overall, Charlotte ranks as the most sinful city in the Tar Heel State largely thanks to its high marks in the jealousy and lust categories.
