(WGHP) — A cold front will bring wind and chilly temperatures to the Piedmont Triad.
Mostly sunny and windy on Thursday with lows in the middle 30s and highs in the middle 40s. A cold front will move across the Piedmont early in the day. That means we will hit our high temperatures around lunch time, with falling temperatures for the rest of the day. Wind gusts on Thursday could be as high was 35 mph. Wind gusts could be as high as 60 mph across the mountains.
Friday will be a sunny and cold day with lows in the upper teens. It’s going to feel even colder, when you factor in the winds. On Friday afternoon, we will top out at 40 degrees. A slight breeze on Friday afternoon will make it feel like it’s in the 30s.
Another cold start to the day on Saturday with lows around 20 degrees. Saturday will be sunny with highs in the middle 40s.
Mostly to partly sunny on Sunday with lows in the middle 20s and highs in the middle 50s.
Monday, a slow moving system will bring showers to the Piedmont with lows around 40 degrees and highs in the upper 50s. Chance of rain 40%.
