WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A fatal crash was reported in Winston-Salem on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2:11 p.m., Winston-Salem Police Department officers responded to a crash in the 2500 block of Clemmonsville Road.
Arriving officers learned three vehicles crashed.
Investigators say a 2008 Mercury Milan was going east on Clemmonsville Road then crossed the double yellow line and crashed into a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan and a 2002 Ford Ranger.
An 82-year-old Lexington man was in the Mercury and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was left with a minor injury and was taken to a hospital.
The driver of the Ford was not hurt.
