Jeanty gave Heisman voters one last jaw-dropping performance on Friday night in the Mountain West championship game against UNLV, racking up 209 yards on the ground with a highlight-reel 75-yard run to lead the Broncos to a 21-7 romp and a sure spot in the College Football Playoff.

In all, Jeanty’s numbers are staggering: 2,497 yards rushing and 29 touchdowns, both of which lead the nation. No. 2 on the list of rushers is Omarion Hampton of North Carolina, who has 1,660 yards. Yes, Jeanty is ahead of him by 837 yards.

According to former Washington star quarterback and NFL veteran, as good as Hunter is, if it was FBS coaches who did the voting for the Heisman, Jeanty would be the winner.
