HONOLULU (KHON2) — Baskin-Robbins celebrated the grand opening of its newest shop in Honolulu at the Ala Moana Center with a $20,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii.

The new Baskin-Robbins, located on Street Level 1 near the Center Court, opened at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
The event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Baskin-Robbins Brand Head Jonathan Biggs and Hawaii franchisee John Kim.
The first 500 guests were treated to branded merchandise bags starting at 10:30 a.m., and Baskin-Robbins mascot Coney was also on hand for photos.
As part of the celebration, the Baskin-Robbins Joy in Childhood Foundation presented a $20,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii (BGCH).

“We were proud to open this new location in the Ala Moana Center and support the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii in helping young people reach their potential,” said Kim. “We hope our shop becomes a place where families can come together to enjoy great ice cream and give back to the community.”
