Tamulonis said the process has included removing snow from the stage and the fountain to ensure people have a place to stand for the event.

“We even saw on Saturday a lot of people are feeling stir crazy we had a big crowd downtown shopping and I think everybody is ready to get back out there and celebrate the holidays. It’s certainly going to feel like the holidays. We’re going to have snow at the lights for the first year in several years so it’s going to feel like Christmas,” said Tamulonis.
