BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — The Burlington Police Department is investigating a missing man’s “suspicious disappearance.”
On Wednesday, Dec. 4, 28-year-old Aamari Daeshawn Eubanks was last seen driving a silver 2000 Toyota Avalon leaving the 100 block of Wilkins Road in Haw River heading west on US 70 toward Burlington.
Eubanks is a Black man who stands at 5-feet-7-inches-tall and weighs 190 pounds. He was last seen in a bleach-stained black jacket, black jogger pants and black and white Adidas tennis shoes.
On Thursday, Dec. 5, police found Eubanks’ vehicle abandoned in a heavily wooded area near Sharpe Road.
Investigators say that Eubanks is in danger and was injured in a physical assault from an unknown assailant.

Since Wednesday, his mother Alecia Eubanks and her family have endured sleepless nights.
