Millcreek Township Supervisor Kim Clear and Erie County Executive Brenton Davis made a stop by Marshall Run behind Joe’s Hym as flooding is a constant issue at Marshall Run according to Clear.
“We have a lot of flooding from Marshall Run that will back up and go to 28th Street,” Clear said. “This historically has flooded I think three times in the last twenty years because of the climate change that we’ve seen in recent decades.”
Clear said efforts are underway to prevent any possible flooding for that area.
“We have about 28 employees out right now checking all of our catch basins and looking at our stormwater flow to make sure there is nothing hindering the flow,” she said.
