LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WZTV) – The City of La Vergne would like to charge people who are building brand new homes in the area with a fee. They want to use that fee to help build infrastructure, keeping up with La Vergne’s growth. The city wants to hire more police officers, and build new fire stations to meet the demand of the population. It would be called a building impact fee.
