HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Good Tuesday morning. Skies are mostly cloudy to overcast early today with areas of patchy but dense fog scattered across the Tennessee Valley. We are still tracking some areas of light scattered rainfall and umbrellas will be needed when heading out the door. Wet roads and poor visibility have the potential to slow down your morning drive. Skies remain cloudy through the day with a muggy feel, high temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 60s with a breezy southwest wind. Periods of scattered rain showers and isolated storms will be expected from mid-morning into the afternoon, mainly favoring areas south of the Tennessee River and toward Sand Mountain.
