U.S. Marshals offer $5K reward for information on escaped inmate Cesar Hernandez

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The U.S. Marshals are offering a $5,000 reward for information to the whereabouts of the inmate that escaped from CDCR custody over a week ago in Delano .

Hernandez is described as standing at 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. He has ties to Kern, Los Angeles and Riverside Counties.

Cesar Hernandez, 34, was serving a sentence of 80 years to life for first degree murder in 2019 out of Los Angeles County. He escaped from CDCR custody at the Delano court house on Dec. 2. His criminal history also includes possession of a firearm by an ex-felon.

The cash reward is available for information leading to an arrest.
