HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Among the cases highlighted in this week’s Crime Round-up with HPD Sgt. Chris Kim is a classic jewelry scam. The morning of Tuesday Nov. 12, police say a female suspect approached the victim in the parking lot of the Waipahu Festival Marketplace. She was selling fake jewelry and in the process of showing it to the man, she managed to remove the victim’s real gold chain and Rolex watch.
