Here are the Mass. towns that saw the most rain on Wednesday

At least 5,400 people were left without power in the state as of 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s storm brought heavy rain, strong winds, power outages, and travel delays across the region.

Even amid the region’s recent drought, Wednesday was Boston’s second rainiest single-day in the past decade, according to meteorologists, impacting travel and causing flooding.

The Massachusetts Emergency Management estimated that over 5,400 customers were left without power in the state as of 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Boston.com previously reported.

Meteorologists say southeastern Massachusetts got the most amount of rain. Attleboro saw the most rain in the state with a whopping 4.19 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

Easton, Sharon, Wrentham, Blue Hills, and Milton all got at least 3.5 inches, according to authorities.
