After years of fire, vandalism and neglect, the historic R. Vickery School will soon have a new caretaker. During their Dec. 10 meeting, Fort Worth City Council members approved the sale of the tax-foreclosed property at the 1900 and 2000 block of East Vickery Boulevard to Livingston Community Development Foundation for $1 – with a stipulation that the buyer also pay approximately $186,000 in back taxes.
