Nashville, TN – Former La Vergne Police Chief Burrell “Chip” Davis appeared before the Tennessee Peace Officer Standards & Training Commission on Thursday (12/12/2024) for a ruling of an on-going investigation. After hearing testimonies and reading evidence, Davis was unanimously decertified by the Commission. With that ruling, he will never be allowed to serves as a police officer.
