The 2024 Heisman Trophy race was one of the most riveting in recent memory. Quarterbacks took a back seat for the first time in what feels like forever in order to make way for two historic seasons. Of course, that doesn’t mean quarterbacks aren’t in the mix. In fact, two quarterbacks were named finalists for college football’s most coveted individual award: Miami ‘s Cam Ward and Oregon ‘s Dillon Gabriel .
Both players bring phenomenal resumés to the table. Ward led Division I college football in passing touchdowns, yards per attempt, and passer rating. Gabriel led Oregon to an undefeated season, the only undefeated season in all of FBS this year, and was undoubtedly one of the biggest factors in their dominance. However, do their accomplishments outshine those of Colorado ‘s Travis Hunter , who was dominant as both a wide receiver and cornerback for the Buffaloes, and Boise State ‘s Ashton Jeanty , who nearly broke Barry Sanders’ college rushing record?
That’s what we’re going to find out tomorrow. But until then, all we can do is speculate. Here are the latest odds for the 2024 Heisman Trophy. All odds via BetMGM .
