ROWLETT, Texas – Police are investigating a burglary at a construction site near the 7800 block of Chiesa Road. Two suspects have been taken into custody, while others fled the scene, colliding with a squad car, according to the Rowlett Police Department. The investigation took place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.A perimeter had been established around Chiesa Estates as officers worked to locate additional suspects, the department stated Tuesday. A DPS-101 helicopter is providing aerial support, and a K-9 unit is assisting on the ground. No injuries have been reported, and no known threat to the community was reported during the incident.
