Actor Burgess Jenkins to hold Brenner Children’s fundraiser

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Actor Burgess Jenkins, star of movies and TV shows like “Remember the Titans” and “One Tree Hill” will help raise money for Brenner Children’s Hospital on Saturday.

The Winston-Salem native will be signing autographs at The Remedy, which is a cafe and bar located on West End Boulevard that he opened last year.

It’s happening from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at no cost. Any donation amount will be accepted.

They’ll also be raffling off items from the community, including a cast and crew shirt from “Remember the Titans.”

Jenkins grew up in Winston-Salem and graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School.
