2 teens arrested in gang fight that happened at Mandarin High School, JSO says

A Mandarin High School student and a student from another school “are facing charges of aggravated battery following their violent confrontation with another Mandarin High School student,” according to a message from the MHS principal.

Families were sent a message from Principal Sara Bravo on Friday informing them that a Mandarin High student was arrested Thursday and a student from another school was arrested Friday in connection to the incident.

Bravo said in her message that “it appears to be related to an ongoing dispute between the individuals involved.”

She said weapons were not used, but “it was still appalling, and behavior of this nature should never be tolerated at our school or any school in the district.”

Action News Jax received the police reports from the fight, saying that it was retaliation from a previous fight. JSO also claims the fight was gang related.
