Minneapolis man facing 45 years in prison for mass shooting that left one dead

A Minneapolis man is facing 45 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a mass shooting in February that left one man dead and three others injured.

Hennepin County Attorney’s Office announced that Antonio Timberlake, 27, pleaded guilty to the 2nd-degree intentional murder of Pierre Miller and three counts of 2nd-degree assault concerning a Minneapolis shooting on Feb. 27.

According to the attorney’s office, he will be sentenced to 534 months in prison under the terms of the plea agreement.

Timberlake was responsible for the shooting outside the Minneapolis Market at Chicago Avenue and Franklin Avenue, with police arriving to find Pierre Miller lying on the street, already dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Three additional victims were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds. According to the complaint, three men wearing all black had come out of an alleyway and began shooting at a group of people standing on the sidewalk in front of the Minneapolis Market. After the shooting, the trio ran north back through the alley.
