Santa Claus visits Loretto Hospital to hand out Christmas gifts to children

CHICAGO – Santa Claus is still accepting requests with less than two weeks until Christmas.

He stopped by Loretto Hospital Saturday to meet with as many families as possible.

Santa’s visit to the hospital is part of a now 34-year-old tradition; 250 families lined up along Jackson Boulevard and then pulled into Columbus Park to visit Santa.

While in the drive-thru, Santa and his helpers handed out bags filled with gifts for children to enjoy Christmas morning.
