Antonio Hall releases statement after departure from Canton Mckinley

Reflection of my time in Athletics:

I would like to thank the Canton City Schools Board of Education for the opportunity to serve and Lead my community. As an administrator I took over a department that was traditionally ran by two people and is now currently ran by two people. To my knowledge I am the only person to have had the opportunity to head it solo. During my onboarding Covid was at its height. My efforts to successfully navigate the district through the pandemic was recognized publicly by the Governor of Ohio.

I came in during three major constructions involving the natatorium, the Turk Locker Rooms, and Thurmon Munson Stadium.

I fought the OHSAA on a ruling that prevented one of our students to participate in competition because her modified uniform did not meet OHSAA standards. Her modifications were made for religious purposes but OHSAA deemed them unsafe. Leading the appeal process, we got the ruling overturned and set a new precedent with OHSAA for students ability to wear modified uniforms for religious purposes.
