Dense fog advisory issued for central, north central, and northeast Wisconsin

he National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for portions of central, north central, and northeast Wisconsin, in effect until 9 a.m. Monday.

Visibility is expected to drop to a quarter-mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions. The fog, combined with patchy drizzle or freezing drizzle, could also lead to a thin glaze of ice on untreated roads and sidewalks.

Drivers are advised to slow down, use headlights, and maintain a safe following distance. Pedestrians should watch for slippery surfaces.
