Joel Klatt Facing Backlash After Revealing His Heisman Ballot

Two deserving candidates were named finalists for this year’s Heisman Trophy, and unfortunately, only one player can win the award.

Colorado superstar Travis Hunter took home the hardware on Saturday night over Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.

On Sunday evening, FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt revealed his Heisman vote on social media.

Many fans were frustrated and joked about his choice to include Hunter and his teammate, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, with the first and third-place votes, respectively. He gave Jeanty his second-place vote.

“We know you love glazing Colorado unc,” said one fan .

“What school did you play for again?” said another fan, mentioning sarcastically that Klatt played quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes from 2002 to 2005.

“Colorado 1 and 3! Joke,” said another .

“The CU glaze is crazy 😭,” replied a fan .

“Exhibit A why your vote should be revoked,” a fan said .

Hunter won the point count 2,231 to 2,017. While a 148-point difference is close, it’s far from the closest of all-time.
