It has been two years since Cojocari was reported missing

CORNELIUS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – It has now been two years since Madalina Cojocari was reported missing by her family.

Madalina was last seen in public getting off a school bus just before Thanksgiving in 2022. It then took her mother and stepfather three weeks to report her missing and she hasn’t been seen sense. It led to a manhunt and a search for answers while gaining national and international headlines.

Both Madalina, her mother Diana Cojocari, and stepfather Christopher palmiter were later charged with failure to file a report in the disappearance of a child. Palmer was found guilty by a jury, Ms. Cojocari pled guilty to those charges and was sentenced to time served and has since left the country. She’s also now considered a suspect by Cornelius Police in her daughter’s disappearance.
