Authorities in Idaho report thousands of wild birds killed by avian influenza

MISSOULA, Mont. – Idaho wildlife authorities are tracking multiple wild bird die offs caused by avian influenza. In a press release last week, Idaho Fish and Game reported die offs in the Lake Lowell, Parma, and Fort Boise areas of the Treasure Valley, where dead birds are estimated to be in the thousands.
