LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – A program that provides free smoke alarms to Louisiana homes is receiving its largest-ever donation this holiday season. Lowe’s Home Improvement is donating more than 34,000 smoke alarms to the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal (SFM)’s Operation Save-A-Life program. The donation is a partnership with smoke alarm brands First Alert and BRK.
