GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was shot while driving his car in Greensboro on Sunday afternoon, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
At around 12:32 p.m. on Sunday, police came to the 3100 block of Forest Lawn Drive and found a man at a nearby business suffering from a gunshot wound.
Greensboro stabbing leaves victim in life-threatening condition
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say the victim was driving down Forest Lawn Drive when he and his car were struck by gunfire.
The shooting was “a random act”, according to police. The only suspect information available is that the suspect is possibly a man wearing a gray hoodie.
Officers and a K9 searched the area but did not find a suspect.
The investigation is active and ongoing. There is no further information available at this time.
