‘Dripped the burning embers’: Woman poured ‘hot grease’ on man, tortured him for ‘half an hour’ in unprovoked attack, police say

An Ohio woman was arrested after being accused of kidnapping and torturing a man by pouring hot grease on him.

Indiolla Howell, 36, was arrested and booked into Lucas County Detention Center on Dec. 13 after an unnamed male victim told police that she allegedly assaulted him in various ways for “half an hour,” according to an affidavit . Among her methods, according to the victim, were stabbing and slicing his skin “all over his face, arms, and torso.” She also allegedly “pour[ed] hot grease” on him, “lit a coat on fire and dripped the burning embers” on him, and “struck him with a metal pan.”

    Howell faces four felony charges including kidnapping to terrorize or to inflict serious physical harm on the victim, aggravated arson, and assault with a weapon. She is being held on $300,00 bond, according to Toledo CBS affiliate WTOL. They also reported that the condition of the alleged victim was unknown.
