Nuts and Snack Mixes Recalled Across 9 States-Here’s What to Know

The products contain undeclared allergens.

If you have nuts and snack mixes in your pantry, check the label before consuming. Cal Yee Farm LLC of Suisun Valley, Calif., is recalling various chocolate and yogurt-covered products, as well as its tropical trail mix and butter toffee almonds due to undeclared allergens, according to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recalled products may contain undeclared milk, soy, wheat, sesame, and almonds. Individuals with an allergy or severe sensitivity to these ingredients “run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” the FDA warns.

The affected Cal Yee’s, Cal Yee Farm, and Boa Vista Orchards branded products were sold online and distributed in California, Arizona, Virginia, New Mexico, Texas, Tennessee, Oregon, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The nut and snack mixes were packaged in clear plastic zippered pouches in various sizes. The UPC codes can be found printed on the products.
