Edinboro, Pa. ( WJET/WFXP ) — One person is injured and a car is left heavily damaged after colliding with a tree in Edinboro overnight.
Crews were called out for the accident around 1:40 this morning for a reported accident in the 6700 block of Route 6N.
When crews arrived, they found a single car with heavy damage after colliding with a tree, but no victim was at the scene of the accident.
The victim had walked away from the scene and was found after a search by police. The victim was subsequently transported to UPMC Hamot to be treated for a head injury.
The investigation into the accident continues.
