Roof planned for Ottawa Park ice rink

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Ottawa Park ice rink in Toledo could soon get a roof. City park officials say operating the rink without a roof has been challenging because of the sun and rain, and the rink wasn’t open for Toledo’s tree lighting ceremony. City council will consider spending $100,000 to pay for the roof project. It will discuss the proposal at its agenda meeting on Wednesday.
