Downtown arts hub Snap! to close after 15-year-run

Downtown Orlando gallery Snap! is closing its doors after 15 years, with co-founder Patrick Kahn making the decision to focus on his health.

“While difficult to do, it now feels like the right time to close this chapter. My health and personal battle with cancer over the years has become increasingly difficult, leading to many heart-to-heart conversations with my wife and partner, Holly, and I. We decided that, while Snap! as an organization will not continue, its legacy and the love of the arts it spawned will, through this community’s many dedicated arts groups and leaders, current and upcoming,” wrote Kahn on his Facebook page last week.

Kahn has been co-running Snap! with partner Holly Kahn with a steady hand for the entire run, first as an annual pop-up, then renovating the historic Cameo Theatre in Mills 50, and finally moving downtown.
