City Council adopts Omaha’s first climate action plan

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The City of Omaha has a Climate Action and Resilience Plan. City Council put the item at the top of their to-do list on Tuesday, their last meeting of the year. The plan aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 52% by 2035 and 100% by 2050 – goals that are in line with many other cities and companies.
